At most family law firms, one attorney does everything: drafts, consults, litigates, and manages clients. We’ve built a different model. Here, the litigation attorney argues and advocates. Drafting, intake, and client communication are handled by other dedicated team members.

What you’ll do
- Argue contested hearings, temporary orders, and trials
- Lead adversarial negotiations
- Oversee trial strategy and take over when mediation fails
- Take depositions and prepare witnesses
- Review and revise motions and responses drafted by the drafting team
- Guide clients through testimony and court appearances with trauma-informed care
What you won’t do
- Draft premarital agreements, modifications, or final decrees (our non-litigation attorney owns that work)
- Run initial consultations or intake calls (our sales team handles it)
- Build your own exhibit binders or trial notebooks (your paralegal does that)
- Spend nights and weekends catching up on drafting projects (the drafting team is on it)
- Daily management of emotional clients (our support team handles that)
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: $140,000-$200,000, for more experienced or board certified attorneys
- For less experienced attorneys, the base salary is lower but scalable as you develop your skills
- Bonus structure: performance bonus on collected revenue above target + 10% origination on cases you bring
- Health, dental, vision (50% premiums, after 30 days)

What we look for
- Active Texas Bar OR documented reciprocity in progress
- 3+ years family law litigation OR 5+ years civil litigation with demonstrated family law pivot (this is not for someone who thinks family law “might be a good fit”)
- Board Certification in family law and/or trial practice is a plus
- Courtroom experience — contested hearings and/or trials with history of successful outcomes and satisfied clients
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and family law specific trial deadlines
- Strong cognitive and emotional fluency
- A person who has opinions, tells the truth, and does great work
- Endorsements from clients and trusted professionals
